Swarmers
Termites will swarm in the warm months, and they leave their parent colony after it rains to begin other colonies. The swarm moves don’t last long, but even if you see no flying termites, there may be still signs of them, such as discarded wings around

Mud Tubes
Foragers will find and eat wood so other termites in the colony can eat. These termites need to stay moist and avoid ants and other natural enemies. To overcome the obstacles, these termites will build small mud tubes, roughly a diameter of a pencil that eventually widens. These tubes are usually seen inside walls, on foundation walls, and along plumbing pipes and crawl spaces of a subfloor and ground.
